Two kids... so let's do the math, that should be about 3.8 plagues per year until the next one joins gen pop in daycare or kindergarten and then you should be at a solid 6.5 plagues per year with the occasional full blown flu haymaker every other year with a COVID wildcard thrown in. This was in all the brochures, but I can have HR send them over to you again.

Funny enough none of us in our house have gotten covid yet, at least not according to any of the dozens of home tests we've both done when we do get sick.

Definitely getting colds and occasional flu thanks to the crotch goblins, pretty sure I had RSV earlier this year. But for some reason covid avoids us... or just always tests negative, who knows

You forgot to carry over the one, and add emotional distress

It is wildcard for a reason, never know what its going to do depending on the person, strain, and environment. Maybe you should be testing when you feel great, you could be one of those folks with no symptoms

We've been discussing the repercussions of reproducing, the bottom line is always emotional distress

Some years ago when I was helping my dad move, we had one of those long u-hauls like that one and I totally forgot to take wide turns, especially on the narrow streets of the city....I realized it near the end of the turn and checked my mirror, missed the front end of someone's brand new x7 Beemer by an asshair. Could have been real bad lol.

You might be allergic to anise in the same way the people are allergic to cilantro.

Anise may commonly induce symptoms of food allergy in sensitised individuals (9), in particular in individuals who are allergic to Mugwort and Birch pollen (7) or in Celery-sensitive patients (4). In a study of Celery- and pollen-allergic individuals, 50% of patients were reported to have specific IgE to anise (4).

Oh man don't get me started - apparently we're supposed to hate cilantro (tastes like soap to most people) but those of us that love it have literally "evolved"

Hm maybe, I do love me some cilantro. Celery I can take it or leave it, it's alright with peanut butter though

About the only thing that I don't like is black licorice, Ouzo, or anise flavored breads or cookies.

I like cooked raisins in picadillo.

You might have a natural immunity or mutation that results in a reduced risk to certain types of viral infections. There were some connections made about the genetic markers after a year or two of covid. But it was not published and I don't think they wanted that information to be widely known. For example two copies of a certain mutation may result in reduced likelihood of infection from one virus while making a person more vulnerable to another.
