Brrrr! 16* now! But up to 47 and sunny today with only a 9 mph breeze. I’ll have to spend some time getting my vitamin D.

Kurt, I like that greenhouse! Not sure I could afford the electricity here to have one. Still, I’m envious!

Kettlebell day! Wishing all a great day!

Argh! Today was supposed to be my second to last day of radiation; I got on/in the machine, I got the first 26 of 62 exposures, and then the machine broke. :(

Assuming they get it fixed today, then Friday will be my last day.

Been there, done that! If they're not declawed I strongly recommend wearing something with long sleeves.

A little something every chance we get.
:pccoffee: Good Morning to all, Porch Pals & Sue! :hattip: Wore myself out pretty well yesterday, so an easy day it is. Fill up the wife's RAV, reset the controller in the greenhouse, therapy for hip, putz. Our "change in the weather" is a "good for one night" arrangement, but heck, I'm ready now.

    Thanks Mike:thumbsup:
The house we just moved into was owned by a single mother raising 3 kids, needless to say maintenance was difficult for her to keep up with. I spent the day cleaning gutters yesterday with the help of my grandson. Tere said I wasn't ready for that yet, but my stuborness took hold and up and down the ladder I went  Well she was right, I'm feeing it today o_O so today will be a do nothing day

Sending positive thoughts and lots of prayers your way. Fought this battle several times with family members and wouldn't wish it on anyone

Do it Susan ! You will love it. My son and myself bought them a couple years back and it's a blast. Can't wait to get back on mine. One of the best features is peddle assist with makes going uphill a breeze. And if you get to tired to peddle home, just hit the throttle :burnrubber:
I went with The Rad Rover. Out of the box you can go 20 MPH. And if you like to tinker with things like I do you can upgrade things ( Hub motor, control box etc. ) I have mine up to 32 MPH !

    Afternoon all:

Our archery season is over, supposed to rain tomorrow, and Fri. they are calling for a mix of rain and snow. We saw a grand total of 13 deer, and neither one of us got a try at a decent buck in almost 30 mornings of hunting. Absolutely a horrible season and we couldn't even find a half decent area to gun hunt, we are going to be lucky if we even get a buck this year. :(

I see a Christmas cactus in the greenhouse Kurt, my grandmother had them and I always liked them.

Actually TWO in there, and one in the sunroom. With some luck and coaxing we can come close to 2022!

Yard guy mowed up the place yesterday, last time this year. Then we talked at length about spiffing up the landscaping and maintaining it from now on. He's good at it, does it in the winter when he's done mowing for the season. Wife has mentioned it several times but hasn't said "you're too old" yet. So, I said it. We also talked about cleaning out the driveway when needed this winter. It's brick pavers on a slight grade from the garage out. If it's icy, it's a no-go. More and more grateful to have help with this and other stuff as time slips away. Next on the list is to remove the old satellite dish from the roof and patch the mounting holes. Or, I have a bundle of original shingles, if I can find someone to R/R the damaged one or two for me. That'll be warmer weather.
Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving!

Good morning. I thought T0-Do lists were supposed to get smaller. Mine keeps growing. Accomplished everything I needed to do yesterday plus dropped my son's truck off at the auto shop to look at a starting problem and check the brakes. Today only has a few items but I will start to clean and polish the kitchen cabinets, probably a 2-day job.

Concerning cats, I have found that massaging their paws when they are a kitten and continuing to do so, will help make trimming the claws easier. If we have to do an uncomfortable task, for the cat, I make sure the claws are trimmed first. I am not a fan of declawing as it leaves biting as the cats only defense. On a personal not I had forgotten how much energy a kitten has and how fast a kitten really is.

    Happy Thursday everyone.
