    I've never been to CO but it looks beautiful. I hope something works out for you in the new future and you are able to get back out west!

    And I know that area decently well! I lived in Seattle (Ballard) and Lynnwood. I was stationed on the sub base out in Kitsap County. I miss WA from time to time but I don't miss the rain and lack of sun :rain: That's pretty neat you were also over in the PNW!

    Ballard was a cool place, it was odd to hear people speaking in Swedish. I had friends that lived in Eatonville, near Mt Rainer. I had plenty of sunshine trips on weekends going over Stevens pass and heading anywhere away from the gloom and doom. Leavenworth was always a fun weekend, camping outside of Roslyn., Moses lake to play in the sand dunes. I loved the skiing out there, even though my knees are paying the price now a few decades later.

    Mid-July through August were the best times to be around the Pugent Sound area

    Made the move (back) to SoCal from MD last year.

    Weather out there is great. It’s just so damn expensive, owning a nice home with property in a good area is unattainable, overcrowded, and fuck wildfires.

    Just make sure you move for the right reasons.

    Currently in the Southeast. The people are soooooooo much nicer than northeast and SoCal.

    I never did make it Mt. Rainer even though I always wanted to. Used to go up around Mt. Baker a lot and that was my favorite hike I have ever done. Leavenworth was great and so was North Bend (Twin Peaks). It's crazy, the eastern side of the state looks so different; just like Arizona or NM.

    Yeah...that sounds 'bout right. Up near Seattle had smoke once every year and fuck that. I'm moving for the weather. My partner is moving for the ocean and beaches and weather. Idk, we'll see. Haha.

    I went to high school in podunk GA. I agree the people are the nicest and the food is :drool: but the HUMIDITY. I could never get used to it. Even up in MD, I hate it so much in the summer.

    Oregon/Washington should really be Eastern Oregon/Washington as one state and Western Oregon/Washington as the other.

    You’re bringing back memories of Eastern Oregon I had otherwise suppressed :laugh:
    The weather is great till a wildfire is a few miles from your door and you know people who’s homes burned to the ground.

    Really I’m selling myself on moving back east :bananadead:

    Geez, that is really scary and I couldn't imagine having a house burn down. That is what scares me the most about moving there. That and insurance, and gas prices. Haha. We have been looking at around Mission Valley.
