    New Poll :)

Keeping in mind that Mollie is a novice, I limited the calibers to 9mm and below.

Personally, I'm a Hammer fired, SA/ DA kinda guy and ain't changing.
    But for a novice?
    Striker fired.
Also 9 mm, just because of selection and ammo availability.

    IDK I learned to shoot with a CZ P01 - hammer fired DA/SA 9mm
I love that gun - shoots nice and flat, minimal recoil cause it's all metal, feels crisp
I mostly shoot in SA - the DA is my safety when it is at home on the nightstand; no way do you pull it in DA by accident

I find it harder to shoot my striker fired as well [IWI Masada Slim]
It is a wee bit more snappy

    Agreed :fistbump:

But I'm thinking striker fired will be easier to learn

    Nothing simpler than point/click

I really like the safety/not a safety aspect of the DA trigger tho - hate manual safeties

I do not like the P365X or the regular 365
Shot em both a few times
They feel mushy for lack of a better term
And I don't like my pinky hanging off the grip

    I have a Masada Slim and I think about getting a G43X

Guns are like cars, they make so many cause we don't want to all drive the same thing :D

    I know

I find it interesting how we all have different and specific preferences

I wanted to like the P365
I shot multiple versions multiple times - with the extended mag/no pinky dangling
    I just didn't like it
    I also didn't like the P320 I had so/much/so that I sold it..

The Slim is less snappy and fits great in my hand
The 43X also just fits me better

I've had 3 Glocks, didn't like any of them. I wanted too, just didn't feel right in my hand.

I like the 9mm Ruger LC9s because it’s compact enough to fit in my cars “secret compartment” and it had a good price at the pawnshop
