First, I will be out of town from 1-21 Dec, you can send something but it will sit at my neighbors house until I'm back, have someone else shoot me a PM with a heads up so it doesn't sit out in the rain/snow.

Since 2 years ago, I've been told to move back to CA from NJ so things are less different. The truck is still pretty kitted out and I don't need much in that area. I've got plenty of stuff in the house already and the goal is buy stuff once that lasts for life.

If you wanna get wild and throw money at TWSS, my crazy wish list is:

-Le Creuset 5 1/2 qt Round Dutch Oven in a vibrant color
    -Milwaukee M18 Wet/Dry Vac
    -New OEM Tie Rod Assemblies (45046-09340 x2, 45503-09550 x2)
-4 Toyo Open Country MTs in 285/75R16
-Magnuson Supercharger for 2015 Tacoma V6

    But for real
Take your Tacoma(or Tacoma Replacement Vehicle) and go check out your closest National or State park with someone whose company you enjoy and send me a picture of the coolest thing you saw, and a park patch or sticker from the park gift shop. Some of my best Tacoma moments have been exploring America's National Parks and why have a cool truck if it doesn't take you cool places.

Donate to your local food pantry or women's shelter, they could use the support more than I need more stuff.

I'll be crossing the country in February from NJ to San Diego, point me towards something cool.

I like trying out beers and local cuisines from places I'm not and can't get near me. If there is a good brewery in your hood or a place making excellent hot sauce, I wanna try it. If you send me smoked meats, I'll be your biggest fan for a long time.

Lesser costs things I could use
The dog is old but still loves destroying toys, she wants fluffy and squeaky, I want it to last more than an hour, its a never ending battle.

Hey there, just recently moved to AZ with my wife and 2 Labs. The doggos love tough toys and nerf dog toys. I’m a 2x for shirts. Wife loves car/truck/murica stickers for our fridge collection. Patches for the truck too!

    Interests:
    -Wrenching on things
    -Subarus
    -Off roading
    -Harleys
    -Guns
    -Guitar and Bass
    -3D printing
    -RC trucks/cars

I wear a size 9mm, 7.62x39, or 5.56. I just got a Stoeger STR9-MC. A red dot for that has been on my mind lately.

Our labs are fast AF and love chasing RC trucks. So a fast RC would get them exhausted! We have plenty of open space for them to run around in now!

The FJ could probably use some spindle gussets, shock tower gussets, or some hydro bump stops.

I scrapped my entire BudBuilt skid set (except for the bash plate and crossmember) because I destroyed them over rocks over the years.

Where we just got a new place with a bigger garage, shop tools are awesome, rolling tool cart, wall mounted storage cabinets, LED lighting, peg board/wall organizers, a big bench vise would be great too. I also saw some “wheel cribs” to set cars on while working on them. Taller would be better. We are going to be restoring our 1997 Subaru Coupe from the ground up.

I’m a big Milwaukee tool fan. I have a lot of M12 and M18 batteries, packout setup, and whatnot. A die grinder or soldering iron would be cool. (Tools only, don’t need more batteries)

I know a lot of those are big ticket items, don’t feel obligated. Pretty much anything in those categories will be great!

No offense taken. I was dying reading that thread.

I am not your SS (or am I?)

It's right around there (I did NJ to SD). Bum around through the Ozarks, and then suddenly you come around the corner to Mountain View, out of nowhere. Beautiful place. The mexican restaurant is a solid 6/10, but the portions are GINORMOUS.

Here's Pepper chasing a squirrel through the park.

    upload_2024-11-21_9-15-15.png

    Cool stone amphitheater thing.

    upload_2024-11-21_9-15-42.png

I know you're heading toward one of the sunset capitals of the world, BUT, the Ozarks don't disappoint.

    upload_2024-11-21_9-17-3.png
This map shows the park and amphitheater so you can find where it is if you head that way.

    Whatcha doing in San Diego?

    https://www.oldtownsandiego.org/
Old Town Mexican Cafe, they make the tortillas out front, and their street tacos on the menu are excellent. The other one (Wolf something or other) also makes great tortillas, but their food isn't as good. And Old Town is a pretty cool place to check out, definitely a tourist trap - when we go for business, though, there's a shuttle that takes us right there, and a train that takes me right to the border crossing into TJ, so it's super convenient. (Also, a bus that goes straight to the beach from there.... :spy: ).

Get adobada while you're out there. Nobody even knows about it on the east coast, let alone makes it, let alone makes it good.

I can recommend some vegan spots if you want :p but otherwise the rest of SD I know of isn't far off what you can find from most travel blogs.

:spy: Okay, by nobody, I meant restaurants.

Adovada is New Mexico style, Adobada is the Mexican style which has made it into San Diego.

Merry Christmas and thanks in advance :santa:

To my TWSS, this is a work in progress, I will finalize it by midnight Friday 11/22/24. I apologize for any inconvenience

    • Longshot- If you live near an aerospace company, NASA or launch center- small models, patches, or swag - mission or systems specific. Something not available on the web.
    • Patches - I went off the deep end collecting patches over the COVID lockdown. If you're a patch guru or have other patch finding special powers, the following specific patches would be tremendously appreciated!
      • Rocket Lab Missions:
        • 1 - "It's a Test"[IMG]
        • 2 - "It's Still a Test"[IMG]
        • 5 - "DARPA R3D2"[IMG]
        • 6 - "STP-27RD"[IMG]
        • 50th Electron Launch (sold out on line)
    • Molle Bags:
If you stalk me, you'll find me primarily in the Space and Science and Lego (though not so much these days). Not so much into official sets any more but more so MOCs - a Lego.com gift card would be appreciated.

Any local distillers near you? If so, a Reposado Tequila would be appreciated.

Or if you want to forget all that, a donation to a Domestic Violence Shelter would be appreciated too!

I've never really liked putting stuff in these threads. Don't get me wrong there are plenty of things I could wish for and tell people about but to me it's about others.

So if you get me as your recipient please just donate. I like to try and help kids who are in need during the holidays. So please donate whatever you can to something like Toys for Tots or to any children's hospital like St Judes or any other children's hospital like Boston Children's Hospital.

    Thank You and Happy Holidays!

Some ideas. I like tinkering on my truck and other TW members rigs. My truck could use https://arksplashguards.com/products/2005-2015-toyota-tacoma-splash-guards the shop could use https://a.co/d/e6CRrZW https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000PSATJO https://www.homedepot.com/p/SHOCKWA...m-Drill-Bit-Set-15-Piece-48-89-4670/322112926 or any other consumable things like sawsall blades and death wheels. If you’re feeling generous my truck is developing another problem with both front seats.

    As promised.....

    I no longer own a Taco. I now own a 2023 SR5 4x4 Tundra Sport.

I like to think I live a pretty active lifestyle. I coach my kids sports (softball and baseball), I take my dog for long walks, I mountain bike, I golf, I like guns (but don't go out as often as I'd love to.... I blame California), and am a big sports fan: Los Angeles Chargers, Anaheim Angels, Anaheim Ducks, Chelsea FC, and Chicago Bulls. I am a big fan of The Office. I like beer, specifically reds or blondes (beer, lol). I often wear local burger joint shirts (Size Large).... 100% cotton only, please. I hate those ring spun cotton shirts. I enjoy coffee, burgers, washing my truck, and doing things around the house. My favorite store is Home Depot. I enjoy gardening, bon fires, and bbq.

I feel like I'm pretty simple. My wife would tell you otherwise.

If the sky is the limit, I have been wanting a lift kit for my Tundra, bigger tires, a new knife, more Milwaukee tools (can never have enough). I may add more at a later time :)

Hey Santa, sorry to post late.

Not much needed for the truck. Maybe some Soft Shackles to add to the recovery bag. Already have ropes & other stuff.

    Blanco Tequila

Local to you Beer or Hot Sauce or T-Shirt or something else unique to your area.

My older L & XL shirts fit me fine, but newer stuff fits a little snugger. So XL or XXL for a shirt.

Surprise me!!!! (I hope that doesn't come back to haunt me, haha)

As always, a big thanks to my SS & the elves that put this on. I've been lucky enough to participate every year since '17 when I joined TW, & love seeing some of the stuff gifted.

    Merry X'Mas Y'all

    TWSS...

I'd love something that reflects wherever you're from. A coozie from your local micro-brewery, maybe a beanie to keep my bald head warm, maybe a size large t-shirt. I could always use another 18v Ryobi battery, or a rechargeable flash light (I keep those everywhere). Same with a cheap multi-tool for the glovebox or my backpack.

And in the spirit of the season, buy a couple of bags of socks at your local Dollar General type store and drop them off at the closest homeless shelter. Shelters will tell you socks are the most requested item. Help out a brother that's down on his luck.

Merry Christmas to my new friend...

First, the secret Satan thing some of you said made me chuckle. I'm actually in a fangroup that has a Secret Satan!

Me, hmmm..pretty simple person. 3 cats and a wife.

My hobbies include Star Wars, darts, vintage BMX bikes, retro video gaming.

2x in T shirts. I have plenty of hoodies already though.

    Recovering alcoholic as well.

Off my skull I think my truck is pretty much set, at least for the moment. Only so much can be done being a 2 wheel drive haha

I'm seeing a trend with people who have been on here a while; my truck is pretty well built out and I have most of the recovery gear I need. I could use a winch line extension, but those are expensive.
Tools are always great. Harbor Freight (Icon) and DeWalt are my friends.

I do like to cook and eat/drink good things, and we enjoy camping.
Have a new baby who will be almost 3 y/o once this Secret Santa starts.
Camp cooking stuff is always good, or any "I love this thing, it has been such a lifesaver for us".
If you have a craft brewery (or distillery, or winery) near you, I love trying new things. Mostly boozy stouts and IPA's, but I also enjoy a good sour. I'm open to trying new things.

If you really want to be fancy, I'm saving up for the Badlands off-road jack. Or an ARB style hydraulic jack.

Alternatively: Amazon, Home Depot/Lowes, and Harbor Freight gift cards are always good.

    Well heck.

    The usual for me……

    Local IPA’s to you.
    Stickers/Decals for the beer fridge.
I enjoy cooking, smoking, bbq-ing, so any favorite rubs, local to you rubs.
    Bourbon. I love a RR10.
Homemade jerky? Who doesn’t like jerky!

Let’s all just have a great damn Xmas season! :santa2:

Here's an Amazon wish list of things I'd like to have, or be creative. I tried to put an explanation for everything on my Amazon wish list so anyone can see what my needs and wants are if you want to find something off of Amazon.
