Day trip to winterize the cabin yesterday. Was NOT expecting the stairs to be covered in snow! Good thing I went, the pilot was out on the bottom heater and it was 36 in the kitchen when we arrived. All the faucets worked both hot and cold water.
    Critter report:
    2 coyotes (1 smooshed)
    1 doe
    several quail
abundance of water holes that might have been full of feesches along the Kern

Never expected to see critters like that, so no pewpew along for the ride.

Took the back mountain logging road off the mountain, to get Luna dirty. Couldn't find 4LO, not that it was really needed. NUETRAL before twist, not R - dooohhhhh Just shows how often I have used 4LO in Cali in 2 years.

The only pistol that feels right in my hand is a standard 1911 frame. I even got rid of my double stack 1911 'cuz I couldn't get my grip on it right. :notsure:

I had a 1911, never did like it. Mainly because the hammer looks goofy sticking out the back :anonymous:

Someone told me once that the 38 special is the gun people always try to sell girls and that it's really rough on the hands.

My wife likes the S&W 9mm EZ slide.
The name EZ slide is not to be confused with the lotion @StayinStock uses.

Those are nice guns but you gotta lube em with the included lotion.
Generally I just keep the lotion and throw the gun in the trash.

I dont 'slay' deer as you so crudely put it

I become one with them, get inside their minds as I attempt to become one with my inner self. Whilst yer over there with yer right hand inside yer bibs and yer left hand greedily turning the pages of some smut magazine.

I rarely hear stuff any more, and I still don't know what it is

    Wife: Is that the wind?
Self: Don't know, can't hear anything unusual
    Wife: You don't hear that?
Self: Don't know what THAT is, can't hear anything unusual.
