It's less Tacoma and more mod
Only the shorbread ones can be reproduced decently by other brands. I don't much buy cookies though, if I get the urge to bring some camping or something it'll be oreos or maybe fudge stripes.

So, I'm posting this up in case it happens to anyone, or in case you're wondering how well they do with disputes.

I've been using Pirateship for awhile now, and I often recommend it to anyone that needs to ship anything whether it's just once or often.

It's free, and especially with UPS, you can save quite a bit compared to going in and paying in person.

Anyway, I noticed a sudden $31+ charge I got via email a week ago and saw that it was authorized by Pirateship. Apparently, USPS had placed an added charge on what I believe was a re-boxing or something.

I understand shit happens, and appreciate USPS or anyone trying to get my package out to someone, but the charge reason was for two reasons - the charge was at retail cost, and it was due to the box dimensions being different than the original label I paid for.

So, they decided to place it in a bigger box and charge me as if I used that box all along as "custom packaging" versus the $16.04 I paid for priority.

Went online to submit a dispute on Pirateship (takes 5-10 seconds), and entered my 1-2 sentence statement.

Today I got an email that the dispute was resolved and I was refunded that extra charge.

Think it's awesome how quick and easy it was to dispute something through a 3rd party versus having a shipment gone wrong and sent back or worse had I sent it myself.

Local news but y'all might find it interesting.

Jim Bishop, builder of Bishop's Castle in Colorado, died today at age 80.

The dude singlehandedly built this castle over a few decades. He kept it open to the public, unrestricted--no hours, no fees, no waivers, no rules, no safety equipment. You can climb up to any part of the castle. You can allegedly climb on any part of the castle if you're brave enough. Words and pictures can't describe how spectacular and sketchy this place feels in person.

The man was a decorative ironworker by trade. As impressive as the stone work is, the real art is in the iron. All those flying staircases and scaffolding? You can climb on them. They will move underneath you, and your only reassurance is "it hasn't collapsed yet".

It is sad, but not terribly surprising. His health had been in decline for years. 80's not a bad run.

I am curious what will happen to the place. His son has been maintaining it but you can't replace a man like that. He was truly crazy.

    MSI is a good brand

Far better protected (fuses all throughout the 12v side both cable and pci-e input) compared to even high-end Asus cards and more

But a 4060 is not a good buy :bananadead:
