I gotta admit. I didn'tt close my calls and I didn't think for a second NVDA wouldn't be green this morning. They DOUBLED revenue YoY. No one does that and loses investors. lol

Things are not behaving rationally in the market of late...
If you sold the $145 call at the open...for about 15 seconds, $800... 5 minutes later $200...

I just bought the $145 for tomorrow on that dip there...fingers crossed...

It's the normal 5 minute open run-up, huge pull back to trap stop losses, then slowly run it up the rest of the day. Seems totally normal to me. lol

Is anyone else dealing with HSA investment transfer issues between HSABank and Schwab?

So, this is SUCH a specific use case/question, I would go to reddit instead of Taco World for that one. The chances of myself or a fellow degenerate having these two institutions here is pretty dang slim.

/r/personalfinance /r/Schwab might be two places to start.

I'm looking at transferring all existing assets from Schwab to Fidelity, thats what most people on Reddit are talking about doing as well. I already deal with Fidelity and they've always been great so not too upset about that part. But I fear the transfer process between HSABank and Fidelity is going to be a pain, especially in comparison to the easy sweep transfers you used to be able to automate with Schwab.

    Hot damn, I stand corrected.

Is this an HSA or just an unfortunately named bank? :spy:

    https://www.fidelity.com/go/hsa/transfer

    https://digital.fidelity.com/ftgw/digital/transfer-of-assets/

You might need to be signed in, I do not know - I did this from TDAmeritrade before they moved to Schwab, and it went through painless and lickity split. Highly recommend giving it a go. It's basically them automating and handling an ACATS transfer for you.

Both I think?, HSA Bank is an HSA provider my employer uses. They seem to also cover a bunch of federal employees too based on the Reddits threads I'm finding.

What happened this year is that HSA Bank made the incredible decision in the past few months to completely cut Schwab off and force all users to use their internal HSA Bank Investment platform, and charge you a 0.1% fee to do so. So now you either got to suck up and pay the fees, or figure out how to transfer your funds elsewhere on your own.
Had to do that TD->Schwab transfer for this same account last year too. It went great for a single move, I'm just unsure if that same process can be used every two-weeks to move new contributions over, and what fees will be associated with it

Thank you for that link, thats the process I'll use for the at least the initial account transfer

OH, okay, so I actually f'd up my HSA in doing this. I have an HSA with (forget who, but nobody discussed here yet), and my old HSA from my first company with Fidelity still. I wanted to move my current crop over to Fidelity instead just because. So I did that. Turns out when I did that, two things happened.

    1. I accidentally closed the account because I took everything out. Whoops. HR set me up a new one, and just told me "Don't transfer it all next time", and I sheepishly said thank you, won't do a dumb thing again. I do many, but don't REPEAT them.

    2. I incurred a 25$ fee, I forget if it was because I transferred all, or if it was a general transfer fee - This was from the SENDING bank, not fidelity. I THINK Fidelity is cool and will comp that fee if you contact them, I never did, I forgot about them doing that until typing this out right now...

Anyway, something to consider if you're trying to do this with regularity. Might want to do it on a quarterly/annual schedule of some sort instead. But you might want to leave 100$ or so in the "old" account for now so that you don't accidentally close the account.

Interesting price action on my NVDA 11/29 $143 calls. They lost 35% today and it wasn't theta decay. I've been trading options a long time and have never seen that big of an options pricing decline when the underlying was green. lol

Ok so, Andrew "GME back to $20 fast" currently under indictment, discloses a short position in MSTR and causes it to tank 16%... Andrew's Citron Research, who couldn't properly set up a video stream, who manages a measly $19m in AUM caused a $100b firm to lose 16% of it's value...

Things are (still) not adding up whatsoever.

    *cough* bullshit *cough*

Very crazy today...I bought $145's for tomorrow on that dip and they've barely recovered to just over intrinsic value....
I was very optimistic about closing green...but very little $$ in it...
