Its finally cooled off some here and the wind today is 40+.

Unloaded the muzzleloader and knew I probably wouldn't catch my bullet but thought I'd try with a couple jugs and a paint can full of water... I threaded the needle, flight path went through the handle on the oil jug, just caught the lid on jug 2...

Well 2024 was a total bust in Idaho, passed up a small 130ish buck first evening and saw 5 does over the next 3 days. Worst year I’ve seen in 18 years. Kinda strange because we had temps in the teens and 6-8” of fresh snow.

 

Someone has some great hunting weather rolling in next week!! This means NO excuses!! You know who you are!!

I hit a big one with my six-5-Honda a few months ago and my wife hit one with hers 2 weeks ago. I’d rather not do that again

Button head came running in hot yesterday, he stopped 10’ from the blind and stayed there for 3-4 minutes.

We can’t put anything out in Virginia during hunting season. The county we live in, year round. Nothing. That’s why I’m trying to get a food plot established.

 

Water oaks and privet are where it’s at right now around here.
