Didn't think twice about it as I'm so use to searching tacoma for everything. I'm surprised I didn't auto fill TRD OR at the end...

Not making excuses as I didn't actually know what year Tacomas started.

 

All this talk of buying things is such a pipe dream at the moment. Fun though. Kinda like when work sucks and I spend time reimagining how I will spend my time...

Wait until the pickup "purists" think that "1st gens" started in 1978 (but only if you had certain options) vs 1968 when Toyota brought the first gen "pickup/Hilux" here.

 

That was the pickup so it don’t matter cuz they are both wrong. The taco didn’t exist until 95

 

1979 is considered the 1st gen pickup to most mini guys. Prior to that, they are Stout's or Hilux's. At least that's what I'm used to and what the group I wheel with calls them.

1979-1984 - first gen
1985-1988 - second gen
1989-1995 - third gen

Funny, I saw "2.2 liter SOHC engine" and thought '20R?", and then saw that it said 20R right above that.
