I personally don’t think it’s necessarily the distillers but more of the distributors and to me they seem like they’re almost mafia style controlled and they dictate where and how everything goes just like vehicles

I’m actually going to modify my statement I made above, as I had just learned tonight sitting in a Woodinville pairing dinner, I have come to find out. It’s not the distributors in Ohio, but Ohio itself controlling what comes into the state but I’m just speaking for Ohio and Ohio alone.

Did another Burbon food pairing dinner event last night this time The presenters were Woodinville.
It was a very interesting story on how Woodenville came about. A true American success story.

 

They are just north of me, and have been looking to go see their distillery. Juice is tasty and I like how they keep most of the process in state.

 

i didnt use MMCA as a mixer, i just staged the photo to stir the pot on reddit.

 

Made friends with the guy who runs the liquor store in our ShopRite. Even though we are in Jersey he pretty much keeps everything close to msrp for the allocated stuff. Stoked to build a relationship and hopefully make getting some stuff easier.
