Yeah, my morning bike ride to the radiation center is going to be a tad chilly and possibly a bit wet due to the puddles I'll likely encounter along the way.

Good morning all. Rained last night, more forecast for this evening and possible snow by tomorrow morning. 41 degrees riding in but I might just have to break down and drive the truck tomorrow. If so that will be the first since September. :pccoffee:

    Best of luck!

22 now, but suppose to get to 52 later and sunny all day! Great day to be outside soaking up my vitamin D! I had to pick up the daughter’s dog yesterday and we had a fun time outside barking at the neighbor’s happy dogs, chasing the rabbits and squirrels out of the yard, and me trimming limbs and cutting them up for fire wood. Seems like all the cutting should have made more wood! LOL! Likely only one fire’s worth.

Hoping everyone gets to do something they enjoy today!

A little something every chance we get.
:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Pals & Sue! Down to 33 overnight, but the heater in the greenhouse did it's job perfectly = now that I set it right! Down to 43,, kicked on the oil heat and little fan, and went back to 52 by the time the sun was warming it up. Just one cycle; it wasn't that cold for that long. Haircut, Harbor Freight, magazine drop, and the Ortho office to pick up some handicap placard paperwork. Easy day.

Good morning all. No snow yet in my area. Drove the Tacoma to work anyway. Friend called last night and asked if I could help them pick up a fire pit they won in a raffle after work. :pccoffee:

Carl: What are your thoughts on the DEKA batteries?

Good morning. Off to the gym early, carpet cleaners will be here sometime between 8 and 1. Need to tidy up the garage and clean the kitchen cabinets. Not a hard day, just busy.

Good Friday Morning Gang :hattip:. Plenty of rain and chilly temperatures. 34 degrees now with a mix of rain and snow fluffys. Upstate got a goodly bit of snow. It's going to be one of those years  with the weather.

Have a good day and be safe folks.

Hmmm, 33° here in Maryland today, my bike ride to my 40th and final radiation appointment is going to be cold enough to give me a head freeze going down some of the hills. Honestly, I'd rather get a head freeze from eating ice cream too fast. :D

Good Morning Tom, It's chilly here as well and havent seen any snow yet. And still raining. We needed the rain so I can't complain.

Clean up day around the house today. The wife makes chocolate covered pretzels for friend and family so after a week of he making them she is finally done. 20241119_193520.jpg 20241119_193459.jpg

Nice to get the kitchen back to normal.

    Have a good day Tom.

 :rockband: for final radiation treatment Dale. Brain freeze is a good thing when ice cream is involved :D.

Much warmer here today. Only got down to 35 last night and suppose to be a warm 60 today! WOW! A shock to the system!

Dale, I hate ice cream brain freeze! Growing up in Texas we made homemade ice cream often in the summer. I would almost always get a brain freeze from eating it too fast! Couldn’t blame anyone but myself for the pain!

Ken, my better half loves those chocolate covered pretzels! Those look delicious!

Kettlebell day! Then I think I need to spend the day outside because the outside days are about to come to an abrupt halt soon I fear.

Have a good day everyone! Give yourself a treat of something good!

With the heated gear I have those temps aren't bad. As long as the roads are clear I'll still ride. I just avoid brined road surfaces, cinders, salt, etc. as they're too hard on the bike. Pic below shows what the rear suspension pivot pieces looked like after a few seasons of riding on roads like that.

Those little pieces were the needle bearings after about 115k miles. I will admit I should have serviced them much sooner but it's a real PITA to perform that service. Both of my current FJR1300s have been done and are fully grease packed.
