Tpms acting up.

Tire pressure is showing on my pioneer head unit but not on my dash, and the light is on.

I ordered new denso tpms just in case since they are almost 9 years old.

but any idea what’s going on and how to fix?

Not sure why the head unit would be picking up, but not the cluster.
Either way, at 9 years old, it's time to replace them. All of them.
I'd bet a nickel that'll fix the quirk.

 

My guess is that the Headunit is displaying info that it got the last time it read rather than Live data. Mine is also almost 9 years old and mine don't read anytime the weather is below 70 degrees, but works fine above that. When the batteries are weak, they don't like the cold.

 

yeah I think I’ll just replace them. It’s about time anyway.

 

If you know anyone or a shop that has a TPMS programmer such as an Autel TS508. They can scan the sensors and read the battery condition.
