Definitely more pleasant to shoot :fistbump:

My priorities for a concealed carry piece:

    1) Reliable.

    2) Small enough to conceal... duh.
You can't very well carry a 1911A1 or Beretta 92 concealed without being uncomfortable and looking bulgy
Unless you're in Winter clothes, people gonna know.

    3) Fits my hand. Non negotiable.

    4) Hammer DA/ SA preferred, but not an absolute.

In my case, that turned out to be a Walther PK 380.
The caliber was not top priority (within reason).

In other parts of the world, the .380 ACP is called 9mm Kurz or 9mm Short.
The argument over whether .380 is adequate rages to this day.
Really now, it's less powerful than 9mm Parabellum but not that much less.
If you have one, just get some defensive ammo for it, plus some ball for practice.

    But...

The 9mm has it all over the .380 when it comes to handguns to choose from and ammo availability.

The ranges by me had limited rentals
I wound up buying a Sig P320 because I found out that if I didn't like it, I could just sell it and not loose but maybe 20-40 bucks
And sure enough I wound up hating it
And sure enough I sold it for what I paid for it, less 20$
And then I went and bought an IWI Masada Slim which I freaking LOVE!!

The Slim is IWI "clone" of a P365 but it is much more ergonomic [for me], fits my hand great, flat trigger and the trigger pull/break feels crisp unlike other things in that category [G43X and the P365].

Pretty good morning so far. I’ve seen 15-16 doe’s and 7 bucks, the biggest one a 3 year old 10 point. Not much shooting, that’s good!
