Hey I just got my 2000 Tacoma running correctly and now I’m looking to improve some things first question is does anyone have / know about a center console like cup holder storage etc that can be sat in between the seats mine has nothing and it would be nice to be able to sit my phone or a drink in that empty space maybe even a safe place to keep a fire arm idk if we allowed to talk about that if not I apologize

Presumably bucket seats, you don't specify color or whether it's a regular, X cab, double, manual or auto. I would first check local junkyards but interior trim in decent condition is one of the first things to go.

There's a few parts involved, the actual center console and the shifter bezel, as well as any trim parts that bring it to the dash.

First thing is to scour the Toyota dealer parts sites to get correct part numbers to make sure you're getting the right console(s). Then you'll have to either go direct OEM from a dealer or a place like eBay or Amazon.

Here's the rear part from ebay, here's one with the A/T shifter bezel, and here's a M/T shifter bezel. The prices on these are off the hook so it's going to take some searching (and waiting) to find one at a decent price.

As for a firearm, there are lots of aftermarket solutions for console firearm safes.

Here's random pics of 2000 tacos, A/T and M/T. The only way I can think of there's no console is if someone had a 6/40 bench seat and changed it out for buckets.
