    Does it have cool wheels?

Maybe a good 3RZ I can put on the shelf as a spare?

They were dealer add-ons for the Tacoma, not done at the factory and I'm assuming the same for the T-100 as well. It's a hair splitting argument really but one that you always see mentioned on here when someone says factory supercharged

It has kind of neat wheels. But no it's got a 3VZ that's going in the garbage because it dropped a valve.

That's the 3VZ-FE... that's a great engine, and many of its parts are compatible with a 5VZ as well which is neato. The T100 has the garbo 3VZ-E that blows headgaskets and makes 140hp or whatever. We were hopeful it would be in okay condition to make a dirty set of jpipes and toss a turbo on to blow the thing up, but it is just hashed.

    all yours

Yeah it is, Jayson and I are stoked about the whole project

No, likely just a big single and maybe intake pressure based boost control rather than wastegate. Let er spool all she can and use a secondary valve in the intake tract to dump excess pressure.

Nitto g3, Falkens, and toyo AT3 all on backorder, ended up ordering the Toyo RT trail. Found some footage of them going up Yankee Hill in the snow and decided to givem a try. hope they live up to the hype and price. could have purchased the rest of the SAS parts I need for that price :bananadead:

If I was smart I'd buy another set of Michelin Defenders and a set of chains for those ranch roads but I hate putting on chains lol

hell yeah. you gonna go plain turbo or try out a VGT? diesel take offs are all over the place here

I wonder if you could pipe the excess to the exhaust to keep egts down?

I've never dabbled with VGT, I'm sure we could control it but I'm just unsure if the effort is necessary. This is going to be a drag truck, if it has trouble getting on the chip fast enough we could possibly use a 50-100 shot of nitrous for spool assist easier.

I was just mentioning Haltech to a buddy who is building a 2UZ 80. I think there is a market for (it certainly needs more attention) for the tuner types who are upgrading their 80 series.

I hope this works on the 3fe 80. I know the Toyota diagnostic port has information. Its just getting it to software to read it. I'm surprised the Aussies didn't develop some sophisticated OBDi software for Toyota like they did for Nissan.
