Talked with the tech and he seems like he knows what he’s doing. Will only mess with the upper control arm ball joint slide nut and steering arm if needed.

 

New at Jones, they do a video describing anything they find plus a walk around and recommendations. That’s pretty interesting. They recommended things I have planned to do plus brake fluid (due to years) and fuel induction… maybe this weekend

I’ll test the brake fluid again but it tested good the summer and fuel injection I believe is a gimmic to make them money. No hard feeling there though.

 

Well that sounds much better than the old stealership ways that I’m used to dealing with.

 

I had alignment done when the tires were rotated last month...cost: $124.99

Of course, I have OEM suspension so nothing special for my alignment.

Talked to a 3rd Gen Tacoma SR/AC owner today about his tire set-up...he had negative 12 offset with his 265/65R17s with some pokey.

I asked, "so all you added was a coil spacer to the front and nothing in the back to get you 2 inch lift?"

"Yessir! And it only cost me 100 bucks."

 

I wonder if that makes me a charter member. Moved to NC in spring. Need to go see the coast.

 

Okay, now you're just broadcasting a standard that should be across the board. lol

 

Don't expect that from the dealer in Westminster.

 

I'm expecting it from I.G. Burton Toyota in Dover, DE.

They are great! I switched from the Milford Toyota after my first (paid) oil change at 5K miles. (Toyota Care 1st MX wasn't until 10K)

Must say… I’ve always had nothing but great experiences at Jones as well. At least compared to stories I’ve heard over the years, and seen.

 

Lord, no! Don’t ever expect anything positive to come outa Koons! It amazes me that they are still in business!

 

I’m accepting bets on the over/under before the thread gets nuked into the Dumbgeon

 

Bought my Sport in Koons in Easton...it's a long story why I went there. (No it's not...it's a short story) lol

 

Depending on time frame you might have bought from my son.

Afternoon!

Reporting in that it snowed all morning in Frederick and it's still snowing in hagerstown now. However, the most shocking thing of the day is that it's the first snow of the year and I didn't see one accident!!!

That's gotta be a record!
