Finally installed the black tailgate inserts, blackout badging and the glove box color matched inserts today...

 

This makes me feel even better about having done my own last weekend!

$21.43 - OEM engine air filter from the local Toyota dealer
$30.13 - front diff fill and drain plugs from the local Lexus dealer to replace the front diff fill and drain plugs with standard bolt plugs instead of will-it-strip-this-time hex plugs (fill: 9034118060, drain: 9034124016)
$69.95 - fancy tools (oil filter wrench, drain tool, funnel) from MotiveX

Priceless - not having to worry about stripped bolts on my skid plate, failing to replace the drain plug, over-tightening the oil filter housing so it'll never come off without breaking, etc.

All of those mods and they didn't toss in a U-bolt flip or bigger bump stops?

 

IMHO If you don’t keep the Taco you’ll end up buying another second vehicle. When I bought my 3/4 ton Chevy I started riding my motorcycle just about everywhere. Just too big if it’s your only vehicle. Not even an expense issue.

 

I got rid of my 3/4 ton thinking oh man a smaller truck, better mileage and easier to park and I've hated every minute of it. I'd take the 13 mpg and walking an extra 100 yards for an easy parking spot just to have the interior space again. Haven't even made my first payment and already looking at new denali HD's.

Yep, YMMV. I got called for jury duty and the county parking was a garage. Big Chevy was impossible to fit and had to park offsite. Couple days like that and I knew I had to have a new game plan.

Not today, but recently had a Borla ProXS 40665 muffler finally put on, along with a black chrome exhaust tip. Been putting it off for months.

So the link went to matte grey at 4"... I'm assuming that is the 4" size? I've been looking at these as well. That size is perfect. Nice and understated. Thinking of matte black on my blue crush.

 

Yeah, I had a 5”, took it off and went with the 4”, just right in my opinion as well!

Would love to see more examples of understated but proud flags.

didn't realize the cubic footage changes with the trim level. guess i should go out and change the stickers on the bed sides of my crew cab.....

i have my porsche for shenanigans like that. I work at the air force base here so we have quite the abundance of parking.

 

The dark-ish tunnel at the top of the ramp, with the 4 big propeller-looking blocks on it ... not a valid parking space.

 

Should I buy this topper for $475 was asking $1000 then $600 now $475. My trucks red so I’m not sure but the price is great ??
