Although it should be noted, there were a number of late 85s that did have IFS.

I mean, not that it's important or anything. It's just fun to know these sorts of random little tidbits

I'm not a fan of their front bumper but for those that are it definitely seems like a decent deal. I wish the "heavy duty side steps" they sell didn't literally double in price when you choose dclb

They have their fair share of Chinese components.

American warns are top notch though.

I've got zero complaints about my Smittybuimt, or the entire catalogue of Badlands winches that the STL crowd run

Nice deer!! I've only seen 10-ish deer that big on the hoof in 53 years of hunting. Can only remember getting one shot at one of them. I missed.

Hey @CygnusX191, I am looking for a DD light but after looking at their website I must have something odd and special with my red backlit ssc2? Don't see it anywhere or even an option for back lit like I have. What says the guru of DD land? Looking to see if I can get a SSC2 red back lit spot and two SS3 red backlit in a mix spot flood. Pipe dream???

I went with Warn because of reputation, warranty, and the recommendation of others. After seeing the Badlands winches in action, I wouldn't hesitate to buy one of those, either.

True. But, not everything that's made in China is the same quality.

Smittybilt was on my radar when I was shopping, but there were some bad reviews. Of course, I always take that with a grain of salt because I know how much people love complaining on the internet ( for example, literally any thread on 4runners.com regarding the 6th gen).

So, say you’re walking down the trail and see one of those bears coming the other direction towards you? What’s the best thing to do? Keep walking with purpose and don’t make eye contact? Do you turn around and pretend you forgot something? Stop drop and roll?

I almost hit one on the way. Could've tagged it, got a new bumper and sat in the shack the rest of the week.
Wave arms around real big, Scream real loud,
    "WE'RE ALL GOING TO DIE"
    and start hoofing it.

    I can!
