biggest tire?

Whats the biggest tire u can fit on a stock off road tacoma wanna go 16" rim.

265/75/16 is the biggest you can go without a lift.

 

would that tire look dumb when I eventually went with a lift next yr?

 

cause i'm trying to figure out if i should just buy the new tires and rims now or just buy the rims and have them mounted on my stock tires and buy new tires once I get my lift

 

if you go with a 6" lift then IMO, yes it will look dumb. on the other hand if you get a 2.5" - 3" lift it will look nice. (not as nice as 33's) of course thats just my opinion also

 

265/75/16. Looks great with no rub or trimming needed

 

what is my stock tire tho i think it is 265/75/17? ill have to check its the offroad package

 

stock size in the or package is 265/70/16.

 

My '08 has 265/75/16 on it stock. Wondering if I can go slightly larger with the TSB and the Bilstein 5100's set at the .85" setting which actually got me 1" of lift all the way around? Got a few miles to research it until I need new tires.

 

hmmmm..........they must have started using 265/75/16 as oem size for 08 and up then. those will still be the biggest you can run in a 16 without more lift.............a 275/75/16 may fit....not too sure, but a 285/75/16 will definitely not.

My truck does indeed have the 265/70/16 tires on it now and I had planned to replace with the next size up 265/75/16 after the slight lift I added.
