We have a Friendsgiving dinner tonight with friends and then heading up country to our place for our Annual Thanksgiving Weekend on Wednesday. It is going to be a challenge because my son and DIL are bringing the Grand pups up. I'll get a picture of them all together (house isn't real big and they are all medium size dogs) so it should be an interesting Weekend

Good morning all. Heading out shortly to watch the annual Turkey Pro Nationals Slow Race in Oley, PA. Motorcycle race with the object of being the last across the finish line. Always entertaining. Usually Sunday after Thanksgiving but moved up this year for some reason. Will try to get some pics.

My son went to a Friendsgiving dinner last weekend. It was hosted by one of his oldest friends. We have known her since she was in second grade with my son. Ironically, she is one of his 3 other classmates that had dinner with the family at night, all the other children were too busy doing other things to allow a sit-down dinner together. She is now the Music director in a Title 1 school and Ketih took her his old trombone as a gift to her program. Time goes by too darn quick.

Good morning. Thank you to all that participated in the battery conversation. I will call the shop on Monday to see about extending the warranty from 2 to 3 years. Going to get the living room back in order for the upcoming holiday season. I used our old worn umbrella to protect the smoker from rain yesterday and the wind lifted it up to finally place it on the side of the house. Last rites for the umbrella will be held on Monday when the trash collection happens. Going to keep plugging away at the Thanksgiving to-do list today.

Thanks Tom, I'll pass it on to her. She sometimes goes goes a bit overboard but the final is always nice. Her next project is called "Christmas Crack". She made it last year and everyone enjoyed it. I'll post pictures when she is doing it.

This year the dinner is an Australian theme. I doubt we'll be having Kangaroo but I bought some beef jerky and I will tell everyone it's kangaroo jerky and see how many try it . It's nice to get together with friends for a sit down dinner.

For Keith on donating his trombone for her program. I'm sure some person will get good use out of it and play some good tunes .

Off to the range with the granddaughter to start getting her ready for her Texas whitetail buck and Aoudad hunt. Need her shooting accurately off standing sticks to 300 yards. A bit of a challenge I think, but we shall see!

Got stuff from projects put away in the garage, fixed those flag poles, cut up way too many boxes to recycle, and unpacked the tool chest (for my hangar work). All this Thanksgiving talk reminds me to get the coooler down tomorrow, and some ice for the birds. Two smaller ones to smoke this year.

Good Morning Folks . We had a Friendsgiving dinner last night and the food was very good and plentiful. The highlight of the night was a woman that teaches line dancing. It was amazing how many folks were up dancing. I bet the advil was flowing last night (old folks trying to dance like they are 40 again). It was a good night.

Good morning. Oner half of the kitchen cabinets are cleaned. I will finish up the cleaning today. My cousin was in the emergency room again yesterday. Two days in a row for platelets. Yesterday was a long visit. The ER transfusion took over 2 hours. In the blood center it took under an hour. My wife left home at 1:30 and did not get home till 9:30 last night. I did manage to do the two loads of laundry she asked me to do and there was a dinner waiting for her. I hope today is not a Trifacta for my cousin.

 

and positive thoughts for your cousin Tom. Can I bring my laundry down...Washing is easy but drying, folding and or ironing is a pain.
