I’m looking to get a stock air intake system for my Tacoma, someone on Facebook has a 98 Tacoma intake from a 2.4l engine. Will this work for mine if mine’s 2.7l? Also I’m having trouble figuring out if he has the whole system or if it’s missing anything. I’ll try to attach a picture below.

    thanks for any help

    I think will fit
    Looks complete
2.4’s and 2.7’s are virtually the same
    But
The MAF sensor pigtail is the key
    How many wires?
    Shape of pigtail plug?

3rz to 2Rz bebuilt block and new heads
They are one in the same.....both use same

    Pre 98 are different

think 2001 and later little different again...

everything is same for each year 2rz/3rz..........except for the oil pump gear and sump pan.
    even the ecm's are interchangeable

Is this just missing the filter box? I assume it’s missing something since there’s two open ends to it

Your going to need the rubber gasket for the flange that mounts to the air box, too.
