I-81 NB at Halfway was jacked up with an accident. Naturally that's the exit near where I work so everybody was going the back roads that I go. So my 25 minute commute turned into 40

it’s like her internal alarm goes off at 6 to wake up lol.

It’s ok though, she slept through the night without needing to go out, so that’s a win. After eating, going out and a little playing she’s napping again.

Took the family out today to look at more options for the wife’s new car… today we looked at the ‘25 Lexus NX350 AWD.

Overall, a beautiful vehicle. Lots of power from the turbo 4cyl paired to AWD. Size wise, it was almost identical to the Rav4 we recently looked at. The interior features were much nicer as to be expected. Quality of the leather and other materials were very nice as well. Wife fell in love with all the electronic upgrades. Everything was digital on the dash, not an analog gauge to be found. And everything else was tied into the multi-media center head unit… from the heated seats to radio and nav, 360 degree camera was a cool feature. Definitely not worth a $15k difference in MSRP though.

Think we will keep looking. Next is go drive the Highlander and G-Highlander. But she’s still keeping eyes out for a ‘24 T4R.

 

What about a CPO GX460?

 

Oh, I love the GX’s, so does she. CPO’s are an option in a way… she’s got her heart set on new, but I’ve got her thinking about “minimally” used (15k or less miles). She really wants a fresh new car, the smell and feel of it being hers and only hers. But the option is open for talks if the right vehicle and price pop up. Sadly, vehicles with almost no miles are all but the same price as they are new. Especially since the ‘25 T4R was delayed yet again… used they are the same as their original sticker MSRP.

The auto industry has lost their damn minds!!

 

My wife loves her G-Highlander. She has the platinum gas. Lots of neat features, like 2nd row heated and cooled seats, heads up display lane assist cruise control.
the 25s are going to offer 2 new colors and getting rid of the coastal cream (looks like bone white).
