To clarify, you want just your taillamps to turn on when your drl is on or all parking lamps to turn on?

Why not just turn on your parking lamps?

You could just drive around with parking lights on :notsure:

    No wiring required

Maybe leave the headlights on all the time?

I often do this. Learned it from my Saabs in the 1980s. The only downside I can see is the backup camera goes into “dim” mode and can be harder to see in bright sun.

If you leave in on the on position, it will turn off when you turn off your vehicle and it will turn on when you start your vehicle. This is how mine works. Is it different for your 2014?

You mean, if you leave your headlamp/parking lamp switch in the on position then turn of your vehicle, your lights don't turn off automatically?

If the headlight switch is in the full "ON" position in my 2015, all the lights are on when the ignition is on. All off when the key is off (and door opened). I can't imagine your 2014 is different.

My ‘13 lights are controlled by the ignition. If you are turning the headlight switch knob to parking light position after the door is open, then they’ll stay on.
