I just sat in a Tacoma with JBL and a beatsonic pnp amp. It totally blew me away how much better it was than my JBL system. Does the current JBL not have a separate amp? How does this work?

The jbl does have an amp, think its under the driver side seat,
Its the size of a walnut.....
But once controllers come-out, for a little but of money, you can get a real amp to run those jbl's if you chose to.
Amps are dirt cheap these days...

But, yes, my understanding is the BS piggyback amp does wake-up the system...

i was suppose to meetup with "redhead jess" & listen to hers but im dead set on ditching it all...

I was impressed when I heard it, but have never heard of running 2 amps in series before.

The bs amp will just amplify the shitty signal that the hu is sending out to the factory amp and then you have a shitty sounding system that is just louder.. that’s all it’s doing

well, his has better highs, better lows, and best of all, the center speaker didn’t overpower the rest of it.

I also heard great things about it and there’s plenty of YouTube videos from be sonic itself, showing detailed graphs in before and after videos, where overall sound quality has drastically improved.

that being said for $300 you can get an amp running your entire system with rail power, not just a little bump…
But if you’re not in this that sort of thing, beat sonic is the #1 option in overall upgrade in performance to a factory unit….
Spoke to multiple people that actually have the amp and they have nothing but positive things to say about it…

The system also gives you the ability to tap into the factory audio to run a separate rear sub…

I just don’t understand enough about how it works. Does it bypass the JBL amp, or are you then running 2 amps in series? The difference was substantial, but I don’t want to damage anything. Also, I then wonder about installing a kicker key there to gain dsp.

    Email them...
    Theyre informative & responsive..
Theres plenty of folks running them, trd jon, redhead jess, etc..
Dont think your going to damage anything, it doesnt have a ton of power going through it,
Only option if youre not going all in...
