Not sure if you can get them that far South, but I'm a fan of East Penn/Deka manufactured batteries.

I will say stay away from the Die Hard's from Advanced. It'll die hard and leave you up o_O

My past experiences with Advanced auto batteries with my Jeep way before they got that branding would be to say stay away, far away.

East penn made brands, and Interstate would be my choice

Meanwhile I've gotten several Duralast Gold batteries from Autozone and they have all been solid :notsure:

We didn't have Autozone near me till a few years ago.
The Advance Auto ones before they bought Die Hard branding.
They just couldn't fire the little diesel engine in that jeep if it was under 20 degrees. Even if i parked with the block heater plugged in it was slow to crank. Advance had to refund me.

I’ve always had good luck with the Duralast Gold and Autozone is all over, so warranty replacement should be easy if you ever need.

I’ve had expensive batteries and cheap batteries. I haven’t noticed one lasting longer than the other. It’s hardly a scientific study but I expect all to die between 4 and 5 years.
