I will not take a joke, and you should also take this serious, mama's boy!

I did see Chris(a mod) in here, ordering a pizza. I sure hope he got that delivery!

This is no laughing matter, and as a future mod, should be taken very seriously! I am putting everyone in my watch list. When I become a mod, I will be watching all of you.
    How's that for joking?

I do not think ticks write, or even know how to read. Maybe the ticks that reside on your body are smarter than you are, which would make sense.

Here's a thought? The day you drop a ET or COMBI get back to us. Better yet the day you learn how to write it up would be better.

I think I can elaborate for you in case you didn't get the gist of what he is saying. TacoAL is gently suggesting that possibly you might not be bringing pertinent, relevant ideas to this discussion if you have no experience as Emergency Medical Services Provider.
He Is also graciously suggesting that CPR and first aid might not be a bad idea, followed by an internship at a local pool life guarding. and maybe volunteering with a local fire department, to get your legs under you.

Then maybe a semester at your local community college working in your EMT basic, after which you will then have the rudimentary knowledge of emergency patient care, for instance how to secure a non breathing patients airway with an adjunct called a Combi-Tube. and you will learn about endotracheal intubation, an intervention done as a paramedic, and how to chart your patient interaction and treatment correctly so that should you be subpoenaed to appear in court, you will not look like an asshat, who doesnt know what they're talking about, regarding a call that took place a year or two ago and get sued or what-may-you.

makes sense right? hows that for a run on sentence...bitches.

mmmkay, now this may be really hard to translate for you from the local dialect of western Canuckistan

But I am pretty sure OZ is reminding you that a condescending attitude towards our northern neighbors is not appreciated. :D

and with that, I will bid you good night. I hope I don't have any more calls. it really fubars my diurnal cycle. lol.

I bet as soon as ambulances pull up and require a fee greater than a bus fare, our stupid calls will go down.

I used to work EMS and thought the abuse was bad, but the military is even worse. Tricare needs a $10 copay to get away from the bullshit patients. Ie, "chapped lips," "bruised arm," "my sergeant sent me" and all the other BS that I see daily. I like the guy that had diarrhea... gee, you think it's cuz you were here 2 days ago and we gave you laxatives?

OH, here we go...calling out the Military benefits big taboo..lets try it and the State Benefits in WI where the teachers have the best care in the fricken world. I agree that we need to get with the times and have some serious deductables like the Avg Joe eats every time he takes his kid to the doc, calls a bus, goes to the ER. What are they for active Military families? Do they even compare to the private sector? Not too fair IMHO.
