I paint shit all the time so I can see or find stuff. Yes, with fingernail polish. I bought some of those fancy pens with white or silver color, didn't work with a shit. I also paint house keys to match up with door locks and my gun lock keys too.

Late yesterday afternoon I was in the basement and noticed water oozing out of the top of my water heater so it's off to Home Depot I go in a bit. Yay.

 

I recommend you skip the Home Depot Rheem heaters and go to Lowe's for the AO Smith. Both have their issues, but the AO's have less issues.
