South Carolina BS thread under new MANAGEMENT and lives in SC

I did segment 1 of the South Carolina Adventure Route today. Still lots of issues with washouts and road closures. One washout I was able to traverse. Another would’ve been a maybe with a spotter.

 

Any photos of the tougher areas?

 

Yeah, I have pictures of some. I have a dash cam, too. I’m in the process of pulling down some video.

That craggy part looks like you need a spotter. Gutsy AF doin’ that alone.

 

I didn’t cross those. Just sharing some pictures of some of the washouts. I have video of the one I did cross, I just have to find it amongst all the other video I have.

Digging that Lang! I had a 36 patio dlx and an 84 original back in my catering days.

 

That is crazy. Recently did some of the SCAR near Abbeville and the alternate route was closed down with the bridge out. Tons of trees down everywhere, most cleared but was amazed at the amount of damage those areas sustained.

 

My girlfriend and I are going to do Segment 5 and then pop into Charleston for some dinner soon. Pick it up in Camden, then take it down to Awendaw.

Don't have a date squared away yet. Was going to go this coming Saturday, but I forgot it's OSU v. Michigan. Can't miss that.

 

There are some segments up near Monck's Corner and of course out in the Francis Marion that are pretty good. Grab yourself some BBQ at Lewis you won't be disappointed.

Pretty much over landing. Living out of my truck in Cincinnati again. Once again, SetPower fridge working awesome, Baldr power station working perfect, almost had to use 4x4 going through the storms in VA and WV. Traction boards and tow strap weren't needed yet. Camper shell has been a life saver. I need to add some lights in the lower grill though. Nighttime driving through snow and unlit roads wasn't fun. Over 83,000 miles on the 2021 now. I think I've done about 8 oil changes in the past year now. This truck has been worth every penny.

 

I swear to god, if Day loses to Michigan for the 4th time in a row...

 

One can only hope.

 

oh I know . If they lose I'm pretty sure I'll need a new TV

 

For anyone interested, the solution ended up being to replace the entire control board at a cost of $200 for a new board and a $60 core return for $140 total. Total bullshit that the failure of a $5 pressure sensor ends up costing me 30x that much. Codes were F3E1 for anyone else with Amana/Maytag/Whirlpool washer.
