From what I'm seeing, 15% ethanol is "in spec" and I should be "ok" to use it instead of 87.

    Does anybody use 88?

    Did it fuck shit up?

perfectly fine, minus a mpg or two, but the fuel should be cheaper.

If the only difference is mileage, and not wear and tear, then I'm fine with the lower mileage. 20 gallons will save me eight bucks

How many tanks of taco juice do you go through in a week to a month?

Probably nothing to worry about then with any ethanol content separating

Separation or moisture absorption are definitely low on my list of concerns,

Do you know if there is a significant difference in lubricity between the two? Or if I could expect to knock? Foul an O2 sensor, harm the cat?

Sounds pretty safe, I just prefer to beat the topic to death if it saves me from an issue later

You will have more trouble by asking the internet, than actually using the fuel.

If you aren't letting the gas sit in the tank for more than 30 days in a humid environment, it will be fine.

Drive the truck. Do regular maintenance. Drive it some more.

After my Jeeps transmission died I left it sitting for over 3 years with a tank of California Ethanol containing gas. Threw a new battery on it and it started right up on the first try. People make way too big of a deal about ethanol in gasoline.

I have used this product for years and it has absolutely paid for itself many times over. I buy it by the gallon and keep this quart bottle behind the seat. Granted, I haven't verified it yet with the new (2018) Tacoma but prior to buying the Tacoma, it was like clockwork with my Accord EX-L 4 cyl. I'd use it and get 37MPG, don't use and get 34MPG. The $1 cost of this per tankful saved me $3 - $4 per tank.

I will be trying a tank without it as soon as I establish my true MPG in the Tacoma.

As much ethanol as Missouri adds to unleaded fuel...I'm damn near running E88 when I buy "regular unleaded" gas around here, and paying a lot more for it. Just one more way for big-petroleum to scam the buyer into thinking he's/she's putting better fuel in their trucks.

I run E88 in Pennsylvania all the time, typically 20-40 cents a gallon cheaper. Never had an issue other than losing a mpg or so.

The cornholers want you to put more and more ethanol into your trucks. First the manufacturer said 5% is OK, then 10, now we’re at the 15 to 20 mark.

Ethanol content is far more of an issue in carburetors.

The energy return on investment (EROI) of ethanol is generally low, ranging from 0.8:1 to 1.5:1. Yes, it’s actually negative in some cases. Just a handout to Big Corn.

My biggest beef with E15 is there's almost no top tier fuels available. For that reason alone, I don't buy it. There are many other reasons I don't buy it. But that's the main one.

I think the gas cap says it's safe to run ethanol under 20 percent.

I read that Ethanol is more corrosive than regular gasoline.
