@christian06 and SaBellCo sell locks to keep it from being stolen. SaBellCo is a key that people dislike because it can be lost and some claim that a good hit with a hammer will bust it, but I did buy mine already so I will risk it. christian06 one can be a bit of a pain to install (removing the old bolt) but is 35% the price of SabellCo.

    Detailed and looking alright!

I think I might be getting a roof rack, probably the Westcott but maybe the Cali Raised version. Too many of my "that'd be nice..." list involved getting one. Cell booster, antennas, awning, a light bar...

Are the name brand light pods and bars actually worth the 10x+ price point of the nilight/other Amazon specials? Had my cheapo front light bar for almost 10 years now and it’s never leaked, never failed, seems bright as hell to me. Can’t decide if I’m missing out or not, having never had anything better.

Having had cheapo light bars and also having Baja designs and diode dynamics, they are absolutely nicer and brighter.

Whether or not they are worth the price to you is subjective.

Ooof, that fucking sucks. I immediately cleaned it up best I could without pulling the carpet and I’m just keeping my fingers crossed I got it good enough for no odor. I really don’t want to pull the carpet.

I'd really like some practice swapping suspension parts (never done it and don't want to learn on my DD) so if anyone is planning on doing it and don't mind meeting strangers, I'll buy the beer!

Also I feel like I've read about mod days where everyone gets together to help each other out with various things. Is this still a regular thing? I don't have anything in particular I want done but just want to learn and don't want to drop another grand the next time I need a suspension installed.

Sabellco lock with bakflip x4s here. The bakflip x4s is trash and doesn't hold up imo.

I'm all for mod days. Unfortunately, apartments aren't to fond of them. I need to change out my rear shocks as my current have blown. Not surprising since I have over 100k on my 5100's. I changed out the fronts earlier this year.

Got a question.. maybe some of you have dealt with before.

Has anyone bought a Cali vehicle that was registered as Non Operable. Just looking into what if I were to buy a driving and running vehicle that's just registered there as Non Op for their own reasons (planned project, not driven, etc) and needed to get it back to Az. Would like to drive it back...
