    @daveeasa
    Do I need 2 halogen T harness
    and 2 x 12" DD backlight harness?

    What plugs into the DD spade plug(I think) that powers the backlight?

    Is it completely plug and play or is there anything that has to be spliced/connected by me?
    Thanks for your time and help!

    You remove the spade part and go direct to the 1 pos amp connector for a fully waterproof solution.

    you also need a T harness w diode module. One per side with the 2x12” or you do a single T then the dual output 12” + 60” which then has a wire across the grille to the other side.

    Or convert to OEM LED and get the integrated conversion harness with grille lights. Then no need for an extra T harness.

    but the cheapest option is DD’s Tacoma harness since you have stock halogens. That one uses the spade.

    I am wanting the backlights on with the DRLs, I did not think the DD harness would do that, but your harness will do that correct?
    Thanks

    I believe the DD harness will be functionally equivalent but I don't have one to confirm that.

    PXL_20241126_150344445.jpg PXL_20241126_145311515.NIGHT.jpg My truck has a Southeast Toyota installed 2n1 fog light drl with a fog light connected to regular OEM fog connector and a separate drl connection connected to dealer installed wire harness that goes to a DRL switch on the dash.

    Is there a way to connect that existing wire harness to the DD backlights wire to power the DD backlights with that switch?

    I don't think the DD backlight harness will power the backlights with just DRL

    I’ve answered your question about the DD harness to the best of my abilities. Asking it again does not change my answer.

    Sorry, I meant what about the Toyota 2 in 1 connector in the pictures, is there a way to connect that to the DD backlight wire on their fog light to power the backlights?

    Generally speaking, my contempt for SE Toyota installed garbage is high.
    Throw the SE Toyota garbage in the trash while singing ABCDEFU.
