I think even JohnToyota would agree with that. The Tacoma with the SC had plenty of power to pull the camper, but it always felt like the frame and overall size were too small. The combination of these two shortcomings along with a no-hassle sale made the transition the right thing to do. Tomorrow the sun will rise - albeit a little later in the morning!

Welcome to the Tundra club. You won’t be on the Tundra forum long, it sees an average of 3 post per day lol.

Yeah I was gonna say "see ya on tundras" but it's pretty slow unless you're in the threads like "what have you done to your Tundra today" or home improvement

I would 100% sell my third gen to anyone looking. Can't blame you for getting rid of it but I'm not sold on the new tundras.

Welcome back lmk if you want your truck back (I’m pretty sure it was yours at one point) ((jk I quite like it)) Any reason in particular you don’t like TX?

YOU got my truck?! I was wondering where it went to! I still regret letting it go. Ping me if you ever want to know EVERYTHING I did to it.

The weather sucks, there's practically no public off road trails in the entire state. I kid. There's like 3 or 4, all at the far ends of the state. And the most important one, the cost of living in North Dallas (where I work) is basically the same as Aurora.

That’s why I want to buy a brand new OEM one while they’re still available.

If I don’t end up doing the swap I can sell it for the same price I bought it for.

Lots of individuals making noise about the Gen3 Tundras - some truth and some just pre Gen3 owners (just like here on TW) and non-Toyota owners with nothing better to do than hate. I had two GMC/Chevy trucks before my first Tacoma - both shit the bed just after the warranty expired (like withing 1000 miles) and the manufacturer told me to pound sand. Dodge has a new engine in the straight-line six turbo - looks killer but the manufacturer has major problems that simply don't make them an option. Never been a Ford fan. So, the Tundra was my choice. I am going to get an extended warranty before the oem expires to cover 7 more years and up to 100K miles - so if something would go wrong Toyota can fix it. After 100 K miles I won't care as I drive about 5.5K per year and at age of 68 now I will be using uber or a senior-care cab then!

Agreed - the Tundra forum does seem to be very quiet compared to TW, and the Colorado section is shall we say nil at best. Hopefully I will be able to find items and information I need as time goes on. If not, well I won't stop checking in here.

Ghetto motor mount reinforcement. Probably should just cut the mount off and make my own but I had a couple steins of dunkel for lunch and this is what came about.

I should probably make a build thread instead of of using the BS thread...
