    Happy Thanksgiving eve, I hope that all that are traveling have a safe journey and that no one has to go anywhere near a grocery store today!

    It's gonna be a cold rainy one tomorrow around here, I only have about an hour drive to get to the place where the turkey is. I couldn't talk the lady friend into staying put and getting some General Tso chicken instead.

    Way up North (like Maine kinda North) There lived a guy who hid from his neighbors and worked in his workshop, on fishing lures and Bowling Balls. He seemed grumpy all year and pretended not to want to be friendly with ANYONE.
    But on Christmas morning when he saw the joy and happiness in the eyes of his little WHO grandson, all his grumpiness melted away and his heart grew three sizes that day! :santa2:

    Unfortunately the very next day he went back to his old self o_O and the only thing that makes him happy is fishing and Ketchup :rolleyes:

    four days off!!!!!
    now i just gotta survive cooking dinner tomorrow. mom will be hovering and barking orders at me all day. pretty much a guarantee

    worked until about 4pm today. i was pretty much the only one there. i know my install crews were out wrapping up a couple of houses but most everyone in the office (the few that didn't take a vacation day today) started dropping out around 1 or 2. i actually got a lot done today so i stuck around to try to take advantage of the peace and quiet. amazing how much more progress i can make without constant interruptions.

    made my thanksgiving jello last night - orange and raspberry jello with a can of jellied cranberries melted into it - and got the butter for hte turkey clarified today and have an apple pie - we're not pumpkin people - in the oven now. had leftovers for dinner tonight so that made it easier on me to get all of the other prep done.
