Front Leaf Hangers Replacement

As title says…

Wondering if anyone has replaced the OEM front leaf hangers with something aftermarket that retains OEM SOA configuration?

Was involved in an accident and passenger side hanger got damaged, looks like you can’t buy those from Toyota and all the aftermarket options available seem to be for SUA or Chevy 63.

It does look like Toyota sells them for 05-15 but not sure if they are the same. Will be taking some measurements from a buddy’s 2nd gen over the weekend but would prefer something aftermarket now that I’m messing with them.

They do seem to be identical

 

Haven't seen the front ones replaced. If they are like the rears, an angle grinder and air hammer would help in the removal though.

 

The only thing I have seen is for like fab work from ruffstuff or barnes. Nothing bolt on.

Tacomas also have a wierd spring width of 2 3/8"

 

Haven’t been able to find anything aftermarket. Bunch of options for SUA but they are not compatible with SOA.

Debating if I should just get the JD fab frame plate kit that replaces that front hanger or just do the Chevy 63 conversion.

 

Those rivets don't come out easy.
I recently replaced my rear hangers with 4xinnovations.com shackle flip kit.

Heads of the rivets had to be ground flush and then I drilled through them with 4 different size drill bits, smaller to larger (obviously) until I was able to drive them out.

Do it..... Just got my kit. Ruffstuff sent the wrong parts on accident but they were great to work with and got it sorted quickly.

Picking up leafs today and shocks are comin saturday

I was looking and the Supreme Fab Works bolt on kit. Then pair that with an AG shock relo kit.

Could buy a welder and do it yourself for less.... $2200 for 4 brackets and a set of shackles is crazy to bolt $100 junkyard leafs on.

Yep just my 2 cents. I looked into 3 link and being that wide aint my style. If I ever link it it will either get a backhalf or do coils and shocks.

 

I would replace the front hanger with the 2nd gen one if you confirm measurements to be the same and then replace rear hanger with an archive garage one and maybe a new leaf pack at the same time.

 

I have an Icon RXT leaf pack and if I keep OEM front hanger will sure do the Dirt King or Archive rear hangers
