:pccoffee: Good morning Porch Pals and Sue! I'll send best Thanksgiving wishes today, too. Seems like we all have something planned tomorrow .
Someone slept very well last night, and is happily enjoying a chew now! He let out a couple mournful "where's mom" when Carol went to the store so I guess we know who he is attached to! Something tells me he won't be a foster too long.
    Enjoy :hungry:

If ya got to fail at something fostering is a good thing to fail at. I speak from experience. Fifteen years ago my wife brought home a tiny kitten that one of her employees found in their construction storage yard in a piece of copper colored pipe/conduit. She decided we’d foster care the little guy until we could find him a home. I was laying on the couch reading a book when she walked in with him. She set him on my chest and said we are fostering him. He ran around on my chest and stomach for a minute or two and then curled up against my face and fell asleep. Took about 5 minutes for me to fail fostering. I said to her we are not fostering him we are adopting him. He’s asleep on my lap right now as I type this. I was always a dog guy (and still am) but he has turned me into a complete kitty servant. What ever he wants dad gives him. Named him Copper cause he’s orange/copper and was found in a copper colored pipe. Being a foster failure can be a good thing. Happy Thanksgiving all.
    Copper with his buddy.

Foster failure is definitely in our future! Like, by tomorrow probably!
Little guy is timid as can be, but he can wag a happy tail on the floor with a resounding thump!
He was dumped out in the country; so it appears he never had much of a home - he is VERY tentative about doorways; probably never allowed in a house.
But, happily enjoyed the back yard, and chased a cat! He's getting adjusted.

Made it upstate by 3pm, got the heater and water up and running and relaxed. Woke up this morning to snow covered ground that switched to rain. No problem...we have all our fixings for dinner so we will read watch a movie or 2 and have a good dinner :)

    Enjoy and be safe.

Good morning and a Blessed Thanksgiving Day to all.
My wife is busy making stuffing (the aroma of celery and onion and butter…oh my!)
Also roasted carrots, Brussels. can’t forget mention the green bean casserole.

Blessings are abundant. Beginning with the breath in our lungs.

    Enjoy the day!

The blessings in our home are many. My older sister rung the bell last week after a couple of years of cancer treatment. My wife and I are healthy and find ways to be curious and appreciative. Our home is warm and our refrigerator is full. The people we know smile when they see us and we thank them for their presence in our lives. Life is good. We wish all of you similar triumphs and blessings.

Came across this gem. If you like a 12 bar blues jam and strong 60's vibe to go with your turkey.
