Fog light mod (is it supposed to do this?)

Ive had the fog light mod done for a while now and have had this problem since day one, if i leave the button in the ON position randomly at odd times through out the day and night the lights will just come on by themselves. Battery hasnt died YET but i was just wondering if this has happened to anybody else?

 

Depends on how you did the "anytime" mod. Some have this issue, other dont. Just rewire to solve it

 

Which way did you wire? With parking or without?

 

Both of my trucks do it, when i get home from work and the truck sits for 4 hours they will come on for about a minute then shut off, i was told its becouse the ecu is doing its thing, weather thats true or not im not sure. Never had any problems with the battery

 

yea its when the fuel pump primes itself. Other people have experienced this problem, but depending which way you did the mod it could be your wiring issue. If you follow this mod..... you shouldnt have this problem anymore.

In 4 years of having this done I've never seen mine come on either, and I always leave my fogs on.

 

Mine do the same thing come on about 4 hours after truck is shut off

 

follow what i posted in #6 post and you will be fine.

yeah its scary as shit when your sitting outside the fire house and all the sudden your truck is winkin at you lol
