What's the craziest/most interesting/unique item you've ever hauled or towed with your Taco?

Amanda was with me when I picked it up, so yes, and she still wants it. Amanda’s landlady saw the 2-ton unit that I was originally going to use and was fine with it. She knows this one is bigger. We are going to thoroughly clean it before bringing it into the house. The condenser grill can be removed if it won’t fit through the door.

I finally took your advice on reducing the footprint of a condenser coil!

 

Stand on it to collapse it. Saves time and space. Saves material too.

 

The damn thing actually bounced out of the truck not long after I took these pics, but was secured by two bungee cords…



I ended up sticking the A/C condenser inside to weigh it down, which is what I should have done in the first place!

I went to back to the business complex after work today, and the Bryant was still there; I had just picked up a big ass locker and my bed was full, so this was the only place I could put the A/C unit…

How many people say that they’ve transported a residential central A/C unit in the shotgun seat of a Toyota Tacoma?!?!

 

Not me, and I wouldn't.
I carry a sharpie in my truck.
I would have written on it "Not Trash - Do not Remove -"
Then came back a got it and put it in the bed of the truck.

 

Scrappers around here can be jackals; I don’t trust ‘em, and I also didn’t feel like driving all the way back to Doylestown when I was literally right there. I have Wet Okole seat covers that are on their last legs, but still capable of protecting the seat, so I didn’t really give a shit…
