Anyone get the best prices for oem led headlights? So far sparks and Lewis is the cheapest at $1105. Would love to know if anyone can beat that

Well, i slipped in a bought a set of the 2022-2023 Trd Pro wheels PT946-35221-2F. I few dealers in the northeast were offering a free shipping AND no sales tax. I ended up purchasing from my local dealer for $90 more and opted to pick them up in person. Given the reviews in the this thread about no one receiving tracking information and parts showing up randomly, i didn't want to the risk with them delivering while i'm traveling or getting damaged. I had talked myself out of purchasing wheels but i started thinking of the actual cost. I'm going to run 295s on the stock trd offroad wheels. this will require wheels spacers and a quality set like Spidertrax is pushing $300. I'm confident i can sell my stock wheels and tires for ATLEAST $300. Right there, i offset all but $300 remaining of the TRD pro wheels, center caps and oem black lug nuts. These wheels are also 5lbs lighter so it was a bit of a no brainer for at that point. With all discounts, tax, etc i got to $201/wheel

Does anyone know how much the early '17-19 16x7 Pro wheels weigh in at? I can't for the life of me find a figure for them - with the discount, they're looking awfully good these days and as excited as I was for FJ steelies, I think I prefer 16's on the 2nd gen.

Edit: Kagi search got it for me - found one on a bathroom scale tipping in at 26.7#

    17-19s; 27lbs
    20-21s; 22lbs
    22-23s; 22.5lbs

that seems to be the general consensus. I considered that gen wheels because they are gloss and won't "chaulk" like the other trd pro wheels. would you consider the trd faux beadlocks? they may match your gen better. you can get repro 16" steelies for a toyota pattern online.

I went down the wheel weight rabbit hole a bit. A couple weeks ago I put heavier tires on my 2nd car that I'm driving over the winter while refreshing my '12, and it really opened my eyes to how much rotating weight comes in to play even on a street vehicle. The beadlocks do fit the truck really well, but at the same time, they've never really been to my personal taste. The '20+ Pro wheels look really nice from a weight standpoint, but just too 'modern' looking for me (and also a pain to clean). Was hoping the '17-19 wheels were lighter than either my 2G OR wheels, or the 3G OR wheels I originally got to use for winters on my former 3G, but that's not looking to be the case unfortunately. :(

After 7 flats this year (so far, lol), I'm going E-rated tires next round, and when I saw the 2G off road wheels weight in around 22.2#, I'm probably just going to stick with them (and it helps that I already have them, although they really need refinishing). I really, really wanted to run my 17 inch steelies but I don't think I can stomach the triple weight penalty (2-3# minimum for steel, 2-3# for 17" vs 16" wheels, and another 2-3# for 17" tires from what I am seeing). My front running tires for light(ish) E-rated in 265/75 are the new Stronghold (49#), Destination XT (45#), and the Nokian nAT (50#)..

Been down that rabbit hole too. The 20-21 matte black wheels are just impossible to see. I had a set, 5, actually. They resemble a spiderweb. I think j want to get them media blasted.

Nothing sexy here, just a few sets of wiper blade inserts and a few oil filters. At my age, it's all about the basics!

I paid $261 per wheel at a local dealer with tax in September. But they were the gloss gunmetal.

I don't think TRD products are part of the 25% off/free shipping deal.

No issues for me with TRD exhaust in the cart for local pickup. But I still haven’t hit the Buy button, waiting to see what’s on Mrs Scum’s wishlist.

Interesting..I couldn't get it to register on a TRD pro grill for the 4Runner.
