    All installed and good to go. Glad I read the troubleshooting guide. I couldn’t figure out why the drl’s weren’t turning unless fogs or lows/highs were on. My driveway has a decent incline so I rely on the parking brake instead of the transmission. Started the truck, disengaged the parking brake and they popped on.

    I did the exact same thing. Started to freak out and then remembered the parking brake being set

    Same, I checked my wiring and started to even watch others install videos to make sure I didn’t miss anything. Came back to the thread to dm Dave and that’s when I found the troubleshooting link. I guess I never realized they didn’t turn on in the past.

    @daveeasa Good morning sir,

    A couple months ago I asked a question regarding which of your harnesses I needed since I was planning on getting some OEM LED headlights to switch out my OEM TRD Off Road Halogens. I had originally thought of also adding raptor lights and DD SS3 w/ backlight. Then I changed my mind on adding all the extra lights and just got the OEM LEDs and your simple conversion harness. You were very helpful and I appreciate that.

    But now I have a problem I am hoping you can guide me in. The truth is Black Friday got me. I ended up getting the DD SS3 Backlit Fogs and added their harness which according to some research should work with the backlight. And now today I found the MESO V5 side mirror lights on sale so I purchased those also. So now I have two sets of lights that need to connect as DRL.

    My question is, can I use the harness supplied by Diode Dynamics to power both sets? Or do I need to purchase one of your more complex harnesses?

    Thank you for any help you can give me.

    You’d have to hack up the DD harness for the V5’s to access DRL and park upstream of the diodes.

    Thank you for your response! If I didn’t want to hack up the harness, would one of harnesses work also?

    You could do a single halogen T from me and the dd ss3 backlight dual output.
    Or two halogen T's and dd ss3 12" singles
    Then add on the v5 harness.

    Or do integrated OEM LED w conversion harness, equivalent to a halogen T + conversion harness.

    But it's all a lot of money if you already have the DD harnesses.

    I'd probably hack them up myself and save the $, it's not OEM wire so no big deal, I like the heat shrink butt connectors:

    Thank you! I’ll have to figure out which route to go.

    I have an odd request, would it be possible to make a 2020+ LED -> halogen conversion harness? I am selling my 2019 to get into a double cab and I'm keeping my retrofits. I much prefer the performance of HID projectors compared to LED reflectors, but most of the trucks I'm looking at have the OEM LED housings. I would need to convert from the LED stock plug to halogen plugs, but I'm not sure anything exists.

    I know of one or two members who did this. Not a popular mod, but it can be done.

    Johnny will do it. And that’s a decent reason to want to go that route.
