I'd love to have one, but I refuse to pay any annual fee. 24 hour concierge or not.

It's a business card. Plum is free for the first year then $185/year after the first year.

The business platinum is their most expensive business card you can appy for at $450/year.

The most exclusive is their Centurion card. You can't even get the benefits or information online at their site. It's by invitation only. From what I've read, you have to have a Platinum card and spend at least $250K per year on the card to be considered.

    Here are the personal cards:

I had heard at one time, there was a $100,000 initiation fee tied to that card.

Damn, I don't even have a credit card!

Although I do wanna get an AMEX of some type (whichever one I can get, having no steady income due to the fact that I'm a student...) to start building credit...

If you don't have any credit, you could go with a secure Visa. You deposit an amount (e.g. usually a minimum of $300) and they'll issue you a card with the credit limit equal to your deposit. Once you get a history of reliable payments you can apply for a seperate visa that's unsecured and get your money back on the first card. Bank of America has one. For the best credit rating, try to keep your cards opened for 2 years and make sure you always pay on time or pay the balance every month.

I have a debit card already (have had it for about 2 years now) but those don't count towards credit score, right?

Correct, your debit will not show up on your credit report. The secure visa isn't a debit card. It counts as a credit card on your credit report.
