Safest/best way to secure mudtraxx?

    I don’t want my mudtraxx to become a projectile in an accident. What is the best/safest way to secure to my Tacoma? I don’t have a roof rack

    I googled “mudtraxx” and didn’t come up with much, but I’m assuming you are referring to some sort of traction boards. Personally, I store mine in the garage and toss them on the bed with the rest of my gear when I’m going out to play. Depending on the gear I have, I find some creative way to use ratchet straps to hold it all in place. There are also some aftermarket solitons to use the bed rails, but I’m not that fancy. It’s not like I need them 24x7.

    Although high quality traction boards are resilient, it’s not a good idea to expose your tools to the elements when they are not in use. Jeeps at the mall with shackles hanging off them are a good example of this.

    Whatever you do, don’t mount them to your hood.
