I just recently installed a rear locker in my truck and now unable to figure out why I cannot get my brakes to bleed and actually work well. I am able to squishy pedal back but that is it. I have to pump the pedal 2 or 3 times then it will firm. I’ve used the traditional someone in the vehical on the brake pedal and also vacuum bled with no more air bubbles.
    any insight would appreciated

Bleed the one farthest from the master first. Then move closer and closer. If that doesn't work there is air in the master.

Found a Toyota manual how to bleed them and it said passenger rear, driver front, driver rear and then passenger front.

how do you bleed the master in the truck. I’ve only ever bled them on the bench.

You can bleed them, on the vehicle, it's just way more messy, and you don't want brake fluid on paint. You pump the pedal and crack one of the lines, you should have rags or a container to catch the brake fluid.
I prefer doing it on the bench.

    I usually do: L/R, R/R, R/F, then L/F.

I used one of those motive power bleeders when I changed my brake fluid. No problems and the pedal stayed firm afterwards. I think they would work well for just bleeding also.

    ABS?

If air got into that, conventional bleeding won't correct it.....

If air got into the ABS module you could take the truck to a gravel/dirt road drive and then slam on the brakes to activate the ABS then take it back home and bleed it. You might have to repeat, if you have more air in the ABS module.

TRD-ORs have the electric booster that makes bleeding easy. Just press the pedal and open a bleeder. the pump will push fluid.

techstream is needed to bleed the ABS pump. You can get the dongle and some sketchy software from Amazon. There is a very helpful virtual box image out there that makes install easy if you have that technical knowledge. This is what I did and having the toyota software opens up some possibilities.

I just did rear suspension, had to disconnect rear brake lines in order to bolt up leafs. I had to bleed my brakes multiple times, to get normal braking. Used harbor freight brake bleeder.

If you have drum brakes and the shoes aren't manually adjusted up close to the drum, even if there is no air, it will take several pumps before the shoes travel far enough to firm up the pedal
and the assistant pumping the brake pedal is unlikely to work , I have had good results with the Miti-Vac
