Also curious- a mezzer came on a rail I got on trade. Crazy that’s it’s so light. 32 lbs with pedals. Fork feels nice but I’m 1 not picky and 2 never been good enough to know the difference between nicer forks. Lyrik ultimate, MRp ribbon, 36 or 34 factory mezzer yada yada (minus the flexier 34,slightly) but I’m only about 180.

basically “let me know what I’ve got…” ha

Basic question? Are you a fat bastard like me? The fatter you are the more difference forks make.

If you want to part, I'd buy it. I've got two bikes.
One with a scratched stanchion Zeb and one with a base model Zeb.

I haven't even tried it yet, just willing to go all in.

Never thought I'd say this, but I miss riding Corner Canyon so much!

Really I just miss having a trailhead 4 minutes away from my house. Now the closest is about 20 and the better one is 45. :(

Most of the bike trails behind my house have become inhabited by homeless. While they are no threat to me, it is just so gross now so my evening rides are usually on bike trails, light off-road and if I actually want to go on the trails it’s on the weekends or during my time off.

Think of it as a warmup. And cooldown coming home. Our trails are similar distances, fortunately mostly low traffic residential streets, and I have come to appreciate it as mellow time to just spin along and chat with friends, and see what’s new in the ‘hood. What I can’t imagine is having to drive to ride.

The turkeys were out in force at UC Santa Cruz this afternoon. The kind with feathers. I thought the trails would be crowded but it wasn’t bad, and the folks we saw seemed like serious riders. Not a lot of eBikes :) The dirt is perfect after an inch or two of rain in the past week followed by a few dry days. Maybe low 50’s (°F). As much as I love the trails you guys have in Washington, Utah, Colorado etc I do like our year-around riding.

Installed a Bontrager 100mm dropper that I got for free from someone at my local trail. Works perfect!

Needed to drill a small hole in the frame, but other than that it was easy peasy!

We're both spoiled for choice. I spend a fair bit of time for work in middle of the mitt Michigan, and the options there are less than zero.

We're in slippy root season right now though. Got out for a cold ride today and about lost my life 2 or 3 times coming sideways off roots in unplanned vectors

Lot of air pressure adjustments in my future!
4 adjustable air chambers in this photo not counting the negatives.

A little use black Friday fun. The one thing I wanted/needed wasn’t on a big sale. A 15 GA finishing nailer. About to lay some new solid oak stair treads.

Any suggestions for a helmet light for night rides? I have one for my bars that does a decent job, but want one for my helmet for spotting where I’m headed on the trail better.

Budget: Is $100 or less realistic to get something decent? I don’t need the “King Suspension” of lights.

    Thanks everyone!!

not quite $100, but it does have a huge rep. depending on tax and shipping one of the sites below may be cheaper than the other.
