    Kind of a weird feeling when your body is telling you it's pretty darn cold outside (for Alabama anyway) while you look at mud puddles in the shade with no ice in them. There was a frost this morning but it was pretty light, I assume the 11 mph wind may have played a roll in that. This week is gonna be very cold for here especially before winter really gets here

    Kinda same boat. I almost passed on my opening day buck but thought I’d shoot him two weeks from now, might as well shoot now. Haven’t seen another in three weeks.


    We took 12 deer off the property last year and saw plenty this summer. So far we’ve shot three and the deer are pretty much gone. Not sure what is going on other than there are so many acorns still on the ground the deer don’t have to move to eat.

    saw a button, then my eyelids froze closed, at LEAST 18 mph winds in my face, tamarra offerin up a degree or two warmer, and only 9-10 mph winds, imma gone cawl...

    Saw 13 doe today ,10 this morning,3 this afternoon. More deer than I’ve seen all season. Deer season has been open 61 days so far in New York and I have hunted probably 40 at least and have yet to kill a deer here . Pretty bad .
