The plumber did a good job at cutting out the drywall, you can use that to fix the hole.

I was going to put a muffler on the firewood truck today, I think that it will wait until May.

 

Lol, not today so probably May… there is a lot of truth to that. I still need to drain and fill the diffs and transfer case…

Yea, luckily it’s also a hidden hole. Maybe next week I’ll fix it

Also, I need to put up Christmas decorations…

Took me a minute to figure out how they have a brand new ‘23 still sitting… it’s 2wd!

 

I hadn’t noticed that either! That makes a lot of sense. I was thinking it had some weird thing that took over a year for a part or something

I guess that someone put a deposit on the TH… I see a ton of new Tacoma’s on dealer lots, but none with packages like TH’s or Pro’s… they are all SR5, Sport and OR’s.

And still no ship/delivery dates on the new generation 4R’s since the announcement of the latest “delay”.

 

Yea, that’s what I was thinking too and that’s why it doesn’t say sale pending.

I think production is supposed to start later this month on the 4R then gotta be shipped from Japan. Mid Jan maybe till the first ones show up on the lot?

Still no prices or configurator to build em. Probably 72-77k for the Pro, platinum and TH versions. Gotta be cheaper than the Land Cruisers.

Nevermind, just built a LC and it’s like 68k for it with the premium package. No Pro version or anything. The 4R can’t be more expansive than that… right…?

 

I don’t know… wasn’t it you that shared the build dimensions schematic with a comparison between the LC and 4R dimensions a few months ago? I’m pretty sure the 4R is bigger now. I believe it was taller, but maybe same width (if memory serves me correctly). I’m going to guess they’ll either be identical in price or slightly more for the 4R. But they both need to stay less than the Sequoia… which to me if the new king of Toyota SUV’s. While it may not be the most capable in the woods, it’s by far the largest. Packs the most punch with the largest power plant using the Tundras iForce Max 6cyl. To me, the only real LC that is still available is the Lexus GX. Essentially, that’s what they were, just different cosmetics. Now the LC is nothing more than an underpowered and overpriced thought of what its name used to stand for.

 

That sounds like something I shared and forgot about. Maybe they’ve been trying to figure pricing out.

I guess maybe it could be almost identical to Tacoma pricing. Some of the upgrades the 5th gen 4R had are on the new Tacoma. Rear coil springs, disc brakes. Interior now looks almost identical too. Just gotta wait and see.

Ugh, all I want is to know the pricing for the 2025 4Runners. We’re either going to get a 2025 4Runner or the new Lexus GX for my wife’s next vehicle. I think. She (correctly) thinks that the new LC is absurdly priced for what it is. It seems like a lot of trims of the new GX are actually cheaper.
