GFC topper non-camper.

 

How do you like it? Would you recommend it?

 

It performed well on my Big Bend NP trip for how I use my truck. The "turbo cubby" storage is an expensive add-on but I find it useful. It's nice having frequently used items accessible from the non-road facing side of the truck, this also happens to offset the taco lean a bit. It also clears up the interior and bed of the truck some.

I can't say the authorized installer did a great job and it's sort of bummed me out. I'm still discussing that with GFC support so I won't elaborate right now. No real complaints about the product itself.

 

Would you trust an r150 behind a stock 80s dodge 318 in a 2wd reg cab long bed 85 d150

I have a d150 with a 318 that I just got running but the trans has no reverse... someone's already been there and I don't feel like fucking with it

there's a cheap aisin trans out of a Dakota with the small block Chrysler bell housing on marketplace that I could just slap on there but is that a good idea

 

@Ozark_RegCab, we had a great turnout for the 1st annual Newton County Marine Corps Toys For Tots fundraiser and trail ride. We had over 30 trucks and 60 people each day for the two days of runs.

 

An r150 would easily survive the power of an 80s dodge 318 haha, that's less than a 1/3 of what i make

You asked me about ergonomics - my only chief complaint is that I wish there was an angled head available

However, the arc swing is really freaking small so it works perfect to tighten/loosen things up in a really tight space
