SOTEC Christmas Raffle-2024-closed

Hey everyone!

Going to try this again this year! All proceeds are going towards food banks, toys for kids, and sick kids!


How it works:
-$1 gets you 1 entry (minimum $5 entry). email to toyeclub@gmail.com with your name and “raffle” in the comments.
-each entry gets added to a list.
-the list will be numbered and a number will be drawn for a prize as it is announced

Prizes

toyota truck bench perfect for a garage or if you are brave enough and your wife allows, your front hall way.


#2 winner is Andrew
Front runner foldable chair graciously donated from red bear outdoors!

Toyota car cleaning kit which was won in a raffle from toyota town and donated by one of our members.

Tec flag and a multi-tool and knife pack.


When:
Raffle runs until December 15th with the draw being announced on December 16th. This will allow for all the funds to be donated and prizes to be delivered before or closely after Christmas.

Heads up:
Like previous years, this raffle is for anyone and all money raised for tickets will be donated to charities and food banks within Ontario. Prizes will be delivered or tw expressed within reason. I can ship however that is at buyers expense. Previous years we have been able to deliver within the gta without issue.

Bumpity bump.

SOTEC has partnered up with a local school to help some kids in need have a great Christmas. We are also going to try and match donations and donate to local food banks and sick kids like we do every year!

 

Toys purchased and dropped off at the school. We are helping out to make sure 6 kids at the school will not only have something for Christmas but also just have some toys to play with in general since they currently don’t have anything.

We tried to get some good quality toys while also trying to also stretch the dollar as much as possible.

For those that don't know I messed up with permission based on not doing so in the past. Assuming the mods missed our past raffles so we got away with it. I did not thoroughly go through the rules on here so that’s on me. So yes, big thank you to tw mods @MTgirl and @ColoradoTJ for the trust and the second chance.

 

Gotta thank the Mods for sure. I’m sure the rules are there for a reason. Couple years back a guy I know raffled off his Ford Fairlane to pay for medical bills stateside. Took ‘em almost a year of red tape to make it happen. Thanks again to the Mods for gettin’ this done. Ripple effect is gonna be good.

 

Absolutely. It’s unfortunate that there is so much fraud and untrustworthy people that the mods have to go through and ensure everything is good for everyone. Makes it hard for simple things like our raffle to go through even though the mods made it extremely easy once everything was cleared up.

That’s a terrible story about the car being raffled off for medical bills. Hope they got it all sorted!

How do you find out our ticket numbers? @tacoma16

 

As people donated I allocated ticket numbers. So the first person donated $50 so they have tickets 1-50. So on and so forth. I’ll be using a random number generator while recording to draw 4 numbers between the total number range (currently 1-340). I will be emailing the winners too.
