OMG WE should TOTALLY!!!! go to sonics one night!!!!! i'll load my bike in the back of my truck too so we can pretend we fit in...

I'm so glad I wasn't around when they started hanging out at sonics...
I came back one summer and found out thats where they hang out now.. I went there on my bike... did a few burn outs.. and yelled at them saying.. you all are a bunch of pussy ass riders! quit sitting around trying to look cool, let's see how you can really ride!!! and then took off...

jk.... but that would've been funny too..

    anyways... hey....

ramon... since you're to blame... HAHA jk jk jk..
no but seriously... my new alarm... omg.. I want to put a bullet throguh my face... not only did I spend money out of my baby's savings account... but holy shit i'm so mad at myself...

got it installed 2 days ago.. they forgot to disarm my stock alarm.. so the remote start sets it off... aaaaaaaaaaand
the last two nights Ive stayed at my bf's house.... so my trucks outside..
both nights.. alarm goes off.. 5:30am... rushed out .. nothing.. but a cat in my wheel well...
last night.. 4:30am.. I'm wide awake but don't go out.. then again at 6:30 ..so I go out there .. find nothing.... WTF?!?!!!??! WHY DOES GOD HATE ME SO MUCH!!!!

Lol.... the stock alarm is easy. use your remote to unlock your truck and done.

The other one seems like the sensitivity is to high. It's really easy to turn it down. You will just need a flat head. There is a little dial that changes the sensitivity of the alarm. Most of the time that you get an alarm put in they don't tune it right and just put it to where they want.

like I told the guys that installed it... why the fuck would I want to unlock my doors and start my remote start... doesn't that defeat the whole purpose of having remote start, to start your car when you're not in it... why the fuck would I want my doors unlocked when I'm not by it... so people could walk by and steal anything in it as the please...

I jumped on it.. kicked my tired... punched the sides.. it doesn't go off.. only thing that sets it off.. is dropping the tail gate.. and trying to open the door

I think if you manually lock the doors, it doesn't activate the factory safety system so you could still remote start it. Worth a try anyway.:notsure:

Bahahaha..... sorry but that is a great alarm system.... Go take it back and tell them you aren't satisfied with it.

Try this though. A way to test an alarm for sensitivity is by grabbing your key for your truck and tapping the middle of the glass on your door. The harder you have to tap the less sensitive it is. Don't go all crazy and tap all hard but that is the way you are suppose to tune an alarm.

Hey guys, brand new here. Just moved to Albuquerque with the Air Force. Interested in some meets out here. And I know its early but if anyone is looking for a military trailer I have one for sale in the buy sell thread, used it to move out here and don't have space for it.
Also being new to the area, are there many animal strikes out here? I need an excuse to get an ARB bumper

well... it was in my garage last night.. and alarm didn't go off... but another difference is I had my air ride down almost all the way... I know I have a slight leak in it right now.. and it slowly shrinks... I'm wondering if the cold and leak were making the shocks adjust... therefore causing the alarm to go off at the bf's....

I raised the lift up now.. and going to keep it in the garage again tonight.. and see...

    (sigh)

i bet the guy at the innovative audio place hates me.. and thinks I'm being an annoying customer... cause I've emailed him every day since I got the alarm complaining about it....
and he probably thinks I'm on crack about complaining that the alarm is going off so conveniently at 4-6am in the mornings... BAAAHUMBUG!!
