I know that going to Alpha Rex for an issue is probably best off but just wanting to get some feelers out here and see if anyone has the same issue. I have the LUXX headlights wired up to my TRD Sport and something I notice that when I have the headlight nob switched to off for no lights active and activate the left blinker the lights do the 'dance' and light up for about 20 seconds then shut off. Anyone ever notice this or maybe know if wiring something wrong is causing it?

It’s totally normal it’s how the headlights know to do the lock/unlock start sequence. When the lights are off and the turn signal is activated, like when you press lock/unlock, it does the sequence. And it happens when you individually trigger the left signal because Notice how the wiring harness for the start sequence is connected to the yellow blinker plug only on the driver side and not the passenger side. That yellow circle plug is what tells the headlights to do the sequence. If it bothers you just unplug the yellow circle plug, but you will no longer have the start sequence

That makes sense, just annoying that if its the middle of the day and I'm not running DRL's I wish I could left blinker without the lights turning on and off. Any idea if you would know if sacrificing the light dance would prevent this? I've been looking at the instructions for the harness setup but haven't fully got to understanding if I can skip that to avoid this. Looks like I installed the DRL and SR5 converter when I put these in a year ago, curious if I did something extra or not. Appreciate the reply though!

Yeah if you disable the start sequence it won’t happen anymore. Easiest thing to do would be just unplug that yellow circle plug
